Excerpt from the interview at the seminar “Vietnamese Business Women- The temperament to overcome the crisis” organized by the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) which is a National Institute under the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam.
- MC: As the typical businesswoman representing the South region attending the Talk Show organized by the Central Institute for Economic Management, can you share more about the opinion of the sentence “How much temperament a woman has, how happy is she?”
- Entrepreneur Dieu Anh: (Smile) Dear MC, I’m the type of person that harmonizes tradition and modernity, partly because I’m still following the point of view of an Asian woman, and another part is when Dieu Anh studied abroad, went on business trips, had conditions to learn, approach and interact with the environments of developed countries in the world, according to Dieu Anh, the “temperament” of the woman is shown through flexibility and softness in all social relationships, of course, assertiveness and determination are also required, as well as needing courage when facing with urgent or difficult situations. But we need to clearly define “temperament” at work and “temperament” in the family. As an Asian woman, I still love the gentle beauty of the woman when returning to her family. Because in my opinion, to me, the woman’s happiness in the family is in the loving protective embrace of her man, her Husband and her Partner.
MC: It is known that despite being very young, recently Ms. Dieu Anh has received quite many invitations to attend many programs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Council for Foreign Affairs in Singapore, Vietnam Science and Business Union, especially participating in the 37th ASEAN Conference, could Ms. Dieu Anh share more about valuable experiences that can help your business overcome such a crisis proudly?
Entrepreneur Dieu Anh: In my opinion, any business, whether in peacetime, crisis or in the current “new normal”…for sustainable development and overcoming the crisis, “Mind” and “Vision” of the Business Owner is always very important. It is the “guideline” leading all directions of “success” or “failure” of the Enterprise.
We always need to keep a “bright heart” and an “open mind” to deeply feel and flexibly handle most of the issues that businesses have been facing. A leader with a bright heart must have a “great mind”, treat people ethically, morally and be suitable with everyone’s hearts….And will create a business which converges many “bright hearts”, leading the Enterprise in the right direction and sustainable development.
As I have ever shared on “The World and Vietnam Newspaper”, “Vision” for Enterprises here is not only “Deep and far-reaching vision” or “Foresight ability” to always have the right orientation for your Business, but also a “Deep vision” finds the “exit” even in the “dead end”, finds the “Blue Ocean” in the midst of so many “Red Oceans” to become an unmistakable “golden fish” for countless “colorful fish” in that vast ocean. As said by our Founder who is also my companion and soulmate – Goodwill Ambassador Mr. Jung Woo Sung “In life, there are things that are more precious than Gold, brighter than Jade and more valuable than diamond“. Always create different values for your own Business.
In addition, our Business is always interested in social issues. We think each of us has our own values in life…everyone has certain abilities to contribute to society….
Society is a flow in which each of us is intertwined, together forming a vitality that each of us, whether we realize that or not, we always need each other…..and That flow still exists, society is constantly changing, all living beings are still reincarnating…
Let’s practice changing every day…from small actions that still sow great emotions in the hearts of many people…. From daily changes in thinking and actions, you will contribute to the creation of your own life and contribute your ability to change the world in the future…
All of those above show a high spirit and responsibility towards society. We need to join hands to build a stronger society and a community with full of love for each other…..I and Ambassador Jung Woo Sung really dream of such a peaceful and loving world. …… Perhaps that is also the most important thing and the core value to help our business overcome the crisis caused by Covids and Covids era.
